The Hollywood Victorian

Featured on House & Home, our Hollywood project involved a large renovation of the ground floor and basement of our clients’ century-old home in the Upper Beaches neighbourhood. Pictured here, the galley kitchen which was heavily inspired by traditional English-Country design. We opted for a playful and vibrant colour palette, unlacquered brass hardware, integrated panel-ready appliances and a slim shaker profile on the cabinetry. The black honed granite counters are highly durable and add a striking contrast to the interior. A favourite detail, the checkerboard matte ceramic floor tiles infuse a quirky and unexpected element to the design while offering a nod to Victorian interiors.
